I've always believed that getting dressed should feel like something. Not just functional – but a small, quiet act of becoming yourself for the day.

For years, I struggled to find pieces that felt right. Not trendy, not forgettable.
Something that fit well, looked considered, and would still feel special three
years from now. As a petite woman, that search was even harder. Most things
were designed for someone else.

So I made them myself.

vannbells started as a personal project and grew into something I never expected – a small, slow brand for women who care about what they wear and why. Every piece begins with a feeling I want to create. Romantic but not overdone. Feminine but never fussy. The kind of thing you reach for again and again because it just works. From the first sketch to the final stitch, I stay closely involved. Our pieces are made in Portugal, with manufacturers I trust and fabrics I choose myself – because that's the only way I know how to do this properly.
